With the Georgia Climate Digest Video Series, Drawdown Georgia will shine a light on some of the many Georgians who are working to bring climate solutions home. After all, exciting and inspiring work to scale climate solutions is in progress all across our state. This is your opportunity to get to know the people making it happen.
In this interview, we’re excited to introduce the host of this series, Eriqah Vincent.
With over fifteen years in environmental, climate, and social justice non-profit work, Eriqah first became involved with Drawdown Georgia as an advisor on the Climate Solutions & Equity grant program.
Eriqah is a consultant and advisor to the movement in various ways including currently serving on the boards of two organizations:
The Southeast Climate and Energy Network, an organization committed to building a powerful, inclusive, diverse, and interconnected Southeastern climate movement
Girl + Environment, a national community dedicated to sharing educational resources, tools, and information that ignite enthusiasm and active participation among Black and Brown young women and non-binary individuals in the realm of climate and environmental justice.
She previously managed the Just Energy Portfolio at Partnership for Southern Equity and was the Co-Executive Director of Power Shift Network, where she managed the network’s engagement and leadership development programs for their 120+ member organizations.
